The mall is located in a rescued church building. The building was built in 1908 as the first permanent home for the First Missionary Church in Berne, Indiana. In 1960 First Missionary Church moved to their present location on US 27 South in Berne. Next was Grace Bible Church that also then moved to their present location. Following the two churches the building was remodelled into a restaurant with multiple levels connected by new stairs. Also as the Yodelling Village, there were multiple small shops added. Later the building was converted to an Antique Mall and the Berne Antique Mall has been in operation for over 20 years.
